Next week we will be taking our post-assessment on the two learning goals we have been working toward: character and theme.
Students have been self-assessing and know exactly what they need to do to practice and prepare for the assessment. And you can help them too! Below are copies of our "star charts", aka the progressions we use for the learning goals. Students need to be able to do all of the things on the star chart to get to a 7 (their grade level, or a 3/proficient). Please feel free to "interview" your child using these steps as talking points! They can use their independent books to do this.
